Brad Freeman


Brad has over 15 years’ experience working as a Carpenter - finishing his apprenticeship in 2004. Brad has experience in all aspects of the building industry but particularly in renovations and extensions. He has worked on projects from high-end commercial projects and new homes, to patios and decks. He comes from a family of Carpenters’ with Brad deciding to become a Builder after watching his grandfather build his childhood home.

Brad prides himself on providing every customer a quality experience from start to finish.

Nikki Freeman

Project Consultant nikki

Nikki has been working in the building industry for the past two years. She started out her career working in the dairy and broadacre cropping industry as an Agronomist (farm consultant) and moved into the building industry once she and her husband started Smith & Sons Bundaberg.

Nikki is the first point of contact for clients, she manages all the office day-to-day affairs including the accounting and administration. She also provides assistance to Brad in the form of quoting, staff management and trade and material management.

Kim Tysoe

Administration Officer kim

Kim has been working in Administration for the past 7 years doing various jobs from data entry, reception, payroll to some HR duties. Kim joined Smith & Sons in 2017 and is eager to expand her knowledge in the building and construction industry. She manages our Design Centre, takes care of the accounts and is the first point of contact for clients. Kim is here to discuss your renovation ideas, schedule site visits with our builder and assist with finding the answer to any questions you may have surrounding your renovation.




Joey Grey

Apprentice Carpenter Joey

Joey is currently undertaking his Carpentry Apprenticeship with Smith & Sons Bundaberg. His role involves organising & setting up the worksite, learning carpentry stills, organising materials for tradespeople and assisting the carpenters/builder onsite. Joey has been working in the building industry for the past few years. Prior to joining Smith & Sons Bundaberg, Joey was working as a builders labourer for 3 years. Some of his favourite things about working in the building industry is keeping active, meeting new people, being part of a team and watching the transformation of the clients home.
